Real Estate Investment Associate | Amsterdam

The investment team currently consists of 18 individuals and is growing. As an Investment Associate, you will primarily support the investment management team in the day-to-day activities of existing real estate platforms and be involved in the evaluation and due diligence of real estate transactions and strategies. Your responsibilities will include extensive financial modeling and asset valuation, market research, analysis and monitoring of the proptech market, preparation of presentation materials, as well as working on special projects.

You will have the opportunity to evolve in an international and dynamic real estate environment, developing your quantitative modeling skills and knowledge in global real estate markets, as well as the proptech and real estate innovation spaces.

Desired Qualifications

•   The ideal candidate has 2 – 4 years of experience in a real estate investment and asset management company, a team focused on corporate finance/private equity or equivalent.

•   Demonstrated advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.

•   Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•   Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues as part of a larger transaction or project team.

•   Adaptability and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently: sometimes, you will need to work on simultaneous workstreams.

•   Highly motivated with a strong track record of academic achievement (a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required).

•   Numerical bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.

•   Fluent in English (both aspoken and written) is required.

•   Basic knowledge of Dutch (Level B1)

Investment team currently exist of 2 partners, 2 investment managers and 2 associates.
